It has been recently shown in Prof. Wulff lab that this type of interneurons carry a considerable number of dendritic spines. Here I describe how the inhibition of protein kinase C, enzyme of a signaling cascade activated during neural plasticity, affects dendritic spine and synapsis density. PI Kiel ER
