Designing and Validating Magnetic Motion Sensing Approaches with a Real-time Simulation Pipeline
Magnetic motion sensing enables non-contacttracking of relative position and orientation in 3D space. Withrecent advances in sensor and actuator devices, applications inhuman movement analysis seem feasible. However, establish-ing a setup from scratch in terms of hardware and softwareis challenging. Therefore, we introduce a comprehensive sim-ulation pipeline based on a digital twin concept that enablesthe design and validation of new approaches based on kine-matics, magnetics, and digital real-time signal processing.
