CO2 sensor based on lithium ion conductor

The engineering of junction formation and the electrode kinetics with respect to gas sensing has been investigated in electrochemical cells based on LiSiPO and Garnet electrolyte for the possibility of CO2 detection. Li2CO3 and Au paste were always used as sensing electrode and showed good agreement with Nernst equation. Compared all the sensors which were investigated in this work, LiMn2O4 reference electrode and LiSiPO electrolyte shows the best performance.
