Sumoylation-independent activation of calcineurin-NFAT-signaling via SUMO2 causes cardiomyocyte hypertrophy
SUMO2 was identified as a new, positive modulator of the calcineurin-NFAT signaling pathway. Interestingly, these effects seem to be sumoylation-independent and suggest a nuclear retention of activated calcineurin.
SUMO2 wurde als neuer und positiver Modulator des Calcineurin-NFAT Signalwegs identifiziert. Interessanter Weise sind diese Effekte Sumoylierungs-unabhängig und könnten auf eine nukleäre Retention von aktiviertem Calcineurin hindeuten.
