In the thesis the synthesis and characterization of potencial magnetoresistancematerials is reported. In the first part of this work the ferromagnetic chromtellurides Cr2Te3 and Cr3Te4 were investigated. The materials are synthesized as bulk- and thin film samples and they were characterized in relation to structure, electronic and magnetic properties. A way to tune the magnetic properties is a partial substitution of Cr by another transition metal. Therefore not only the change of the magnetic properties, but also the change of the structure is reported. In the second part of this work copper-chromium-spinells, which have probably a halfmetallic ferromagnetic character, were investigated. The selenospinel CuCr2Se4 was synthesized as bulk- and thin film sample and the change of structural, electronic and magnetic properties by partial substitution of Cu and Cr by Ag and Fe was characterized.
