Dopaminergic signalling in Drosophila melanogaster – Insights into the control of metabolism and behaviour

Analyses of dopamine influence on metabolic traits, sleep and activity patterns in Drosophila melanogaster; mutants of a D1-like and D2-like dopamine binding receptor, dopamine 1-like receptor 1 (dopr) and dopamine 2-like receptor (d2r), were studied in this regard. Further analysis of a potential modulatory effect of DopR on diuretic hormone 44 (Dh44) signalling in the pars intercerebralis.
