Development of horizontal memristive devices andtheir potential application as memsensors

This dissertation deals with the fabrication of horizontal memristive devices and their potential application as memsensors following two different approaches. One originates from the further investigation of well understood iron oxide needle sensors, while the secon approach deals with the development of a completely new approach which makes use of CNTs (carbon nanotubes), silver clusters (as mobile species) and gold clusters (to limit the movement of the silver), resulting in a first working device.
