Bringt es Neuartiges von mir hervor? Skizze einer aufrichtigen Methodik.

Creative thinking is actually considered an indispensable part of education and that goes hand in hand with productive knowledge. Both must be responsive to changing situations. The article develops philosophical didactics that attempts to provide a methodic answer to the subject-specific question of how to deal with changing circumstances in philosophical educational processes, which leads to the question: "Does it educe something newly from me?". The point is that philosophical readings of production-oriented processes enable the development of critical skills in learners and teachers for changing the character of directivity. Consequently, an attempt is made to sketch the concept of a "sincere methodics" that can register optional procedures. Based on some illustrations of the notion of "transformative understanding" in the work of Stanley Cavell, a notion of philosophical education is reworked as "self-invention through self-examination", which can better understand the character of philosophy teaching.
