Multi-Carrier Talkative Power Conversion to Transmit Multiple Bits Simultaneously
Talkative Power Conversion (TPC) is an emerging technique in power electronics that integrates power conversion with embedded communication, enabling efficient real-time data exchange in energy systems. Traditional Frequency-Shift Keying (FSK) modulation, commonly used in power electronic DC-DC converters, is limited to transmitting only one bit per time unit per terminal, thereby constraining data transmission rates. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes an enhanced FSK modulation scheme that utilizes Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) and logical OR operations to enable the simultaneous transmission of multiple bits per time unit. Theoretical analysis, along with simulation and experimental results, clearly validates the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method.
