Landscapes and Human Development : The Contribution of European Archaeology

The many dimensions of Landscapes and Human Development are not only a product of recent changes. Rather, the key to an understanding of landscape processes as well as human behaviour lies in the past. During an open workshop of the Kiel Graduate School the participants, mainly from the field of archaeology, agreed to contribute papers to a volume demonstrating the strength of this approach.
